Update: e-Campaign 2011, Tues 12 July

Week 2, Day 9
Negros Oriental/Occidental
Earthquake Day

Desks heading outside!
It was 6.2 on the Richter Scale and it sent students fleeing from the building with their desks! Classes were held outside for a few hours after the early morning earthquake struck!

What a real reminder of our mortality when the earth shakes!
Thanks LORD!

This was a great day with 251 preaching opportunities-the teams worked really hard today. We praise the LORD for each of the team members who are divided into 2 Campaigns with 2 traveling teams each.

Tuesday, 12 July 2011
Opportunities to Preach: 251
People Who Heard The Gospel:  10,239
People Who Made Decisions:  6,499

From The Negros Occidental Team:

"Juergen and several kids from AZ Team2: Re:vive were passing out tracts this afternoon. A pedicab driver (not motorcycle - bicycle) to whom they had just given a tract returned and asked for 2 more. The man passed those out and then came back for more! The kids were so excited."

"This morning Samantha was first to finish preaching the Gospel and was waiting for the rest of us to return. A group of high school young people gathered in a circle around her. She started to give the Gospel and just kept turning around in a circle to included everyone. She got all the way through the Gospel and gave an invitation. It was her favorite preaching opportunity thus far."

"Sarah Collins taught her class the song, "Hallelu, hallelu, hallelu, hallelujah, Praise ye the Lord..." Then she preached the Gospel. When she left she heard the class singing the song she had just taught them."
