Message From Myanmar

A message from our partner in Myanmar... it accompanied a letter mentioning great need. Please take some time to pray for our 70 missionary families, the 6 children's homes, and the Bible College and students! God is working, but they are facing great trial and need...

"When we listen to news report today here in Myanmar, we hear again how Satanic forces are at work to silence God’s people and make them afraid. Dear friend, it is so important we continue the fight against evil and do all we can to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the World around us."

I Think These Verses ALSO Apply to Facebook, Blogging and MSN

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephsians 4:29

Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:16

He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.
Proverbs 18:13

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21

Do Tentmaker Ministries Actually Work?

Just 8 years ago we dreamed in prayer in the basement of our church together with our dearest partners in the Gospel cause and God opened a magnificent door…

Over the past 7 years our church in Southeast Asia has been conducting a business in a Restricted Access Nation placing English Teachers on university campuses.

The facts are clear and easily confirmed. In first city we have worked in there are many huge universities. The teachers have been placed in 2’s and 3’s in this order:

Year 1 : 5 teachers

Year 2 : 14 teachers

Year 3 : 22 teachers

Year 4 : 29 teachers

Year 5 : 33 teachers

Year 6 : 43 teachers

Year 7 : 48 teachers

The local believers we work with were a fellowship of about 100 when we partnered in the cause. After just 6 years, an appraisal of the situation reveals a teeming ministry made up of at least 1200 zealous, faithful believers… growing, serving, building the kingdom. Some have gone to Bible School, some have been called into ministry, and some have started organizations on campuses to further facilitate the cause! And all of these have come into the family by means of having foreign Christians living and working on the campuses of this particular country!

Yes, it works.
